This website was created and is managed by CTC Cargo Training Center, a non-profit organization, with registered office at Bedrijvenzone Machelen Cargo 706, box 22, 1830 Machelen, hereafter referred to as ‘CTC’.
By using this website and the information contained on it, the respective users (hereafter referred to as ‘the user’ or ‘the users’) are deemed to have accepted the applicable terms and conditions as further specified and confirm that these are fully complied with
The information that the user finds on this website or that is provided to the user via this website is of a general nature and can consequently not be considered as meeting the user’s personal requirements or particular conditions, nor does it by definition represent the opinion of CTC.

CTC reserves the right to change the information on this website at any time and at its own discretion without prior notice.
CTC makes every effort to ensure that the information contained on this website is complete, correct, accurate and up to date. However CTC cannot be held liable for any faults or inadequacies or any loss or damage that might be suffered directly or indirectly as a result of using the information provided.
Should it be established that the information provided would contain errors or should information that the user could normally expect to find on our website be lacking, CTC commits itself to rectify this within the shortest possible delay as soon as it has taken note of such possible inadequacies. 2. Disruptions – Compatibility

Although CTC does its utmost to ensure that there are no disruptions in the availability of this website, it explicitly disclaims all liability for any losses or damage the user may suffer directly or indirectly linked to the occurrence of any possible disruptions despite its efforts as mentioned.
CTC does not guarantee that the files contained on the website are compatible with the user’s infrastructure. The user should see to it that they have the appropriate IT hardware and software, including security software (e.g. firewall, anti-virus software etc.).

3. Intellectual property rights

The user of this website expressly accepts that the information and data displayed which can be classified as intellectual property remain the property of CTC or its partners, as mentioned on the website. All texts, drawings, photographs, images, data, trade and domain names, brands, logos and other elements are protected by intellectual property rights. The user may not reproduce and/or distribute them to the public without the prior and express written consent of CTC, except for where such requirement would be expressly waived under the provisions of applicable (copyright) regulations.

6. Unauthorized use of the website

The users of this website agree that they will not:

b. use the website in any way that may damage or alter it, disrupt its availability or affect its efficiency in any way;
c. use the website for transmitting or posting computer viruses, unlawful or wrongfully obtained material, or material that is in any way inappropriate, including but not limited to libelous, obscene or intimidating material;
d. use the website in any way that violates the rights of a natural person, a legal person or association, including but not limited to privacy rights and intellectual property rights;
e. use the website for posting or transmitting material for promotional or publicity ends where this has not explicitly been agreed on beforehand with CTC;

CTC reserves the right to declare the user in default and/or start legal proceedings against the user if its interests or the interests of a third party are harmed as a result of the violation of the above provisions or any other wrongful action by the user.

7. Cookies

From time to time this website will use so-called “cookies”, which are bits of information that are written to the hard drive of your PC. Each time you visit our website this information is sent back to the website manager. Users can set up their browser to warn them each time a cookie is created or to prevent the creation of cookies.

8. Personal data

The user is free to use this website to consult information about our organization and services in general without having to provide any personal details. Such personal details may however be required in some instances, e.g. to participate in contests or for the use of specific services on this website. Whenever the user provides personal details, CTC will treat these in conformity with the policy as detailed below and the applicable regulations regarding the processing of personal data. By providing its personal details, the user gives BAFI its express permission to process these details for the afore-mentioned purposes.

Personal data is stored in a secure environment that is not accessible to the public. The information will only be processed for internal purposes. CTC may use the collected data to enter into contact with the user and for the purpose of providing him/her with an optimal service. The data is kept no longer than necessary for providing or using the requested service. As a rule CTC does not pass on any of this data to third parties, except where it is so obliged to meet legal obligations or. In the exceptional case that CTC would share personal information with cooperating organizations or it works with, this will be explicitly mentioned and/or the user’s express consent will be asked. The user has the right to verify its personal information CTC has collected and to have this corrected where necessary. Moreover, the user is always entitled to request that their personal data be removed from the files of CTC.

9. Passwords

It may be the case that the user would need a password to view certain sections of the website. If the user received such a password, this password shall be kept secret and confidential and shall only be used by the person(s) intended thereto. Every use made of our services after valid identification of the password will be deemed to have been made by the person to which the password was provided and who will be responsible for the actions related to the use of said password. If the security of the website is at risk or when other valid reasons so require, CTC has the right to cancel the user’s password upon its sole discretion.

10. Liability

With the exception of proven intentional fault or gross negligence and proven causal connection to any damage ensuing from it, CTC cannot be held liable for any damage that may result from the use of this website or any information provided on it or accessed via this website (e.g. via links displayed on this website). Further, BAFI can never be held liable for any damage resulting from technical shortcomings, disruptions of access to this website or any harmful interference with the user’s system or software.
It is expressly understood that CTC bears no liability for any possible damage caused by viruses, bugs, Trojan horses, spyware in general etc. should these occur on the website in spite of all the precautions that were taken.

11. Applicable legislation

This website is governed by Belgian law. Disputes arising in connection with this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.
